Immediately following hurricane Katrina my son made a near impossible journey to get to his daughter, Annaliese.
Upon my son's arrival in south Mississippi I received a wireless text message:
"I made it to my goal: Anna is in my arms."

My son and his friend traveled by plane, then car, then BICYCLE--carrying almost 100lbs in supplies.
My son and his friend arrived in Gulfport, MS before President Bush did.
